
Call for Board Nominations
The Change Management Institute seeks nominations to join its Board of Directors.
We are at a pivotal point in our evolution with unprecedented member growth. The Board is focused on scaling operations and redefining our target operating model while continuing to drive our vision to be at the forefront of change and enabling careers through credibility, capability and connection.
We have a passionate, enabled, credible volunteer network with a loyal, engaged and inclusive member community. Our offerings are being refreshed with new IP in the near-term pipeline. These are exciting times for the Institute and for the profession, and supporting members to grow their careers remains front-of-mind for the Board.
As a member, if you want to take your passion for change to the next level – to the global level – then now is the time to nominate. We are seeking the following nominations to be received by 5pm, Sunday 1st September 2024.
Vice-President - 2-year term
- Deputy Chair of the Board of Directors and a sounding board and mentor to the CEO.
- Passion for change and demonstrated success at multiple levels.
- A strong ambassador for the Association with demonstrated commitment to the Institute and its members.
Board Secretary - 2-year term
- Strong governance experience and a relevant qualification is highly desirable.
- Supports the Board in its governance effectiveness and compliance.
- Requires discipline and structure to support decision making, meeting cadence and governance reporting.
- This role must be based in Australia.
Treasurer - 1-year term
- Banking, finance or accounting background.
- Doesn’t require deep change capability, must be familiar with foreign exchange risk and good governance across multiple financial jurisdictions.
- This role must be based in Australia.
General Director - 2-year term (2 positions)
- Depth of change management expertise to sponsor strategic change initiatives.
- Strong learning and development focus preferred in one role.
- Understanding of good governance and risk.
Nominations are open for a period of 3 weeks. All nominations are considered for skills and eligibility by the Board Nominations Sub-Committee and where there is more than one suitable candidate, an election may be held. Successful candidates that are not already members of the Institute must be willing to join such that they are members at the time of appointment to the Board.
